Tyler started serving the Sorgho community in 2003 as a firefighter. Tyler has over 900 hours and is now a EMT.  Tyler holds the position of 4th Lieutenant.  He was elected Firefighter of the year in 2005 and received the Outstanding service award in 2005.  Tyler also serves the community as a Deputy Sherriff with the Daviess County Sherriff Department.
